This is Danny floating in the river after going through a little white water called the Trash Compacter

Just this past week, Kelly and I had the wonderful opportunity to visit my parents in Moab. To spice up the visit a little bit more we decided to try a little white water rafting. What else would you do in Moab Utah? So Kelly and I made our reservations with the Moab Adventure Company and met on Aug 21st at 8am. The portion of the river that we went down wasn't all that rappidy (is that a word?) but there were a few. We decided to take some water proof cameras with us and this is some of what was captured. Our guide was very informative and did most of the rowing for the full 12 miles or so that we floated down the river. Danny got in several times and just floated along with the boat, but Kelly didn't want to have to get in the water and attempt to get back in the boat. All in all it was a great experience and i am sure that we will do it again. On Saturday we went out to the Homestead and experienced some nature. Dad took us on a jeep trip of sorts. The mission was to find Mom some ephedrine plants for her tea. The mission was a success and we also saw a few other interesting sights. Now we are back to the grind and relishing in the heat. (that was sarcasm) Well take care all. The next time i post something should be with some pictures of our yard. The grass is starting to grow and is looking very well. The significance of our yard growing grass will be relevant in the next post. Until then see ya!!

After we came back from Iowa we took off to Boise. Jake, Kelly's brother was graduating with his masters degree. It was practically a mini family reunion. It was great to visit with everyone and look forward to seeing them again soon.

In the first of May Kelly and I had the wonderful pleasure to visit my sister and her family in Iowa. As you can see we had lots of excitement and played games, read stories, and ate. Ricky had his birthday party which was great to be able to attend. We also had fun ice skating with the kids. We look forward to visiting again, Coralville is a very beautiful area.

Today i had the pleasure of walking in the Susan G Komen Walk for the Cure. Kelly would have attended also but he had to gather food for the hungry at work instead. In the pictures are L.E's family and me. Among a few thousand more people. It startded at the gateway mall and was about three miles. Very nice weather and wonderful company.

My aunt Mindy decided it was time to visit Salt Lake City for the first time. It just so happens that Danny and I live here, so we were able to enjoy a beautiful weekend with her. And it was my birthday. We visited Wendover (and left a little money there), went to great restaurants, gave her a spectacular tour, and graced her with our own Karaoke show. We were, however, dissapointed when she failed to participate. When she left, all she could say was "goodbye" (what did you expect her to say!!)

Well, we decided to take the plunge together. Two new cars from the same dealership. The salesman was probably very happy that night. Danny got the 2009 Sonata, and I got the 2009 Genesis. Two proud papas with their children (except without the tax deduction!!!)

We had the privilage of taking a trip to see cathy and her kids. Kelly and i arrived in Las Vegas on Tuesday St. Patricks Day. The strip was pretty packed due to the fact that it was a holiday and spring break. We joined the festivities and partied till eleven or so. Then I went to bed kelly continued to play poker all night long. The next day we met cathy and the kids for a fun filled day of excitment. We had breakfast at IHOP then went to a park in a mall and played around there. Then we made our way to the pool at the hotel Kelly and I stayed at. The Monte Carlo has an excelent pool but i wouldn't recommend the rooms. Fun fun fun all day long. After the swiming Kelly and I went to see The Phantom Experiance (an abreviated version of the Phantom of the Opera) and then went home the next day. Enjoy the photos of the activities.
